Air pollution kills 7 million people worldwide every year. The concentration of population around cities and the resultant consumption of energy through transport, heating and air conditioning systems in these areas result in the emission of huge quantities of gases that are harmful to our health.
There are many organs and bodily functions that are harmed over a period of time when we are exposed to air pollution, some of which include –

- Irritation of the eyes, nose and throat
